DadJoke is the children's music project of Dave Reminick, singer/guitarist of Chicago post-punk band Paper Mice. He writes weird music for weird kids — fun, ridiculous, overengineered songs about ducks, the sounds dinosaurs probably didn't make (but for some reason he thinks they did), and, it goes without saying, the very real danger of a giant rubber horse falling on your head.
Fun Intended, the first DadJoke album, came out in June 2026, and it's full of off-kilter rhythms, key changes nobody asked for, and jokes that land for everybody. Indie Dock Music Blog called it "one of the most purely enjoyable albums released in 2026."
Based in the Chicago area. Available for performances regionally and beyond.
