Notable Children’s Recordings
The American Library Association/ALSC is accepting submissions for the 2009 notable Children’s Recordings List. The deadline is December 21, 2008, but early submission is encouraged. More details are on their Web site, and a submission form.
Beyond Katrina
This powerful book features poetry, quotes and images from those affected by the 2005 hurricanes that hit the Gulf Coast. All proceeds go to help victims rebuild their lives. For more info or to order, www.artsandhealthcare.org
